The infamous C-SPAN caller who complained that too many black people are being featured on the network was comedic fodder for Wednesday’s broadcast of “The Daily Show.”
In the segment, titled “Fear of a Black C-SPANet,” host Jon Stewart not only made fun of the caller – who said the network’s name should be changed to “Black-Span” – but also the C-SPAN anchor who did nothing to address the caller, who complained that “black folks” were calling in on the Republican and Independent lines, and that there are “so many of them” that he “can’t believe this is just an accident.”
