     This 8-member ensemble has basically just set foot on the scene and is already receiving applause.  One might say that is partly because they are very sexy ladies.  Another might say that together they have vocals that range from a Toni Braxton to a Minnie Ripperton.  Even still, one may argue that it has a lot to do with the precise execution that their rhythm section displays in their performance.  And to each one of these statements, neither one of them would be disputed.  LadyRhythm (just previously known as Femininity) embodies a new era for the all-female band in this city.   
 
     Why is the mentioning of them being an all-female band in this area such a significant factor?  Simple.  It is because in such a male dominant music circuit, it is refreshing to see the ladies rock the stage, especially ones who possess as much talent as these.  Not since the debut of Pleasure, 16 years ago, has such a buzz generated so quickly about an all-female band.  This is a group that is adamant about not being just another cute girl group.  They are on a mission to show that they can come correct and hit hard.  
 
     Although these ladies have a pocket drive that can compare to some of the best in the area, they describe their sound as pop, rock and soul.  They can be found on Friday nights at Xcalibur, and Saturdays at Fino’s.
