TROY “DRUPPY DOG” WILLIAMS

Troy Williams is, without doubt, the most sought after producer in the mid-Atlantic region. Problem is that no one can ever find him when they need him.

Those who have heard his work will argue that his tracks can go up against any producer or production team in the business  - Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, Teddy Riley, Trackmasters, you name it.  They don’t want none.  .

The second problem is that he never has a ride to New York when major labels call.  Still, he is one of Polygram Music Publishing’s top in-house producers. Everyone in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia knows that if they’re serious about pursuing a record deal they need Troy’s tracks.

Current local projects include teen divas Exhale, and B-Baller Dennis Scott.  A variety of remixes and major label projects are also in the works for 1999.

In his spare time Troy can be found sitting in with any one of the city’s top Go-Go bands or partying at D.C. Live.  Hey, maybe that’s why people can never find him.
