After over 30 years serving the community in the Temple Hills area of Maryland, Kemp Mill have announced that they will be closing their doors indefinitely at the end of March.

The letter, which is posted in the window of the store, reads:

To all of you who have supported us here at Kemp Mill Music, it is with a great deal of sadness that we inform you that our last store at 3743 Branch Ave. in Temple Hills will be shutting its doors. We were informed recently that we are losing our lease. After attempts to start or relocate elsewhere, it has become obvious that we will have to shut this business down.

We would personally like to thank each and every one of you who have supported us over the years, some of the great memories, and great people! To all the musical artists that have done things with us over the years – we thank you for your time, your efforts, yes – the music!

Stay tuned with any further details we have in regards to sales we may have in the hear future. We are looking to be out of our location by March 31st.
