In the episode of The ONE ON ONE, Kato conducts an interview session with Charles Stephenson, cultural activist and author of the book “The Beat: Go-Go Music from Washington DC”.

Stephenson, who once served as manager for the Go-Go band Experience Unlimited (EU) and played major roles, including co-founded the Malcolm X Day Celebration in Washington, D.C., the Teach The Beat program in the DC Public Schools and other major achievements within the Go-Go music culture, talks with Kato about Go-Go’s past, present and future.
