Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton won’t be playing in the NBA any time soon — they’ve officially been suspended for the season for bringing guns to the locker room. NBA Commissioner Daniel Stern announced today that the two Washington Wizards players have been suspended for the remainder of the season without pay. Gilbert Arenas Negotiating a Plea Deal

Lawyers for suspended Washington Wizards player Gilbert Arenas are reportedly talking with prosecutors to negotiate a plea bargain in which the NBA star would cop to misdemeanor gun charges. Quoting law enforcement sources, TMZ.com says the filing of charges would coincide with the plea. Arenas is under investigation for felony gun charges after he brought four firearms into the locker room at the Verizon Center. As for what a plea would do to Arenas’ status as a member of the Wizards, TMZ says G.M. Ernie Grunfeld and Arenas were text messaging each other shortly after the incident. Gilbert Arenas Has Been Suspended Indefinitely By The NBA

VIDEO CLIP: NBA commissioner David Stern has indefinitely suspended Gilbert Arenas, saying the Washington Wizards guard is “not currently fit to take the court” for a game.
