Gilbert Arenas Negotiating a Plea Deal

Lawyers for suspended Washington Wizards player Gilbert Arenas are reportedly talking with prosecutors to negotiate a plea bargain in which the NBA star would cop to misdemeanor gun charges. Quoting law enforcement sources, TMZ.com says the filing of charges would coincide with the plea. Arenas is under investigation for felony gun charges after he brought four firearms into the locker room at the Verizon Center.
