Little Benny Way: Making The Street Official

Photo by Gerald Evans Photography During the Homegoing Service for Go-Go Legend Little Benny, Mayor Fenty announced that motion was in route to have a street named after Benny.  Well, on Saturday August 7, 2010, that motion will come into effect.  On that evening from 12:pm until 2:00pm and event will be on 9th & U Street, NW Washington DC in commemoration of Little Benny, and naming the street after him.  This event will be open to the public, so plan to be there early.
