Metro Red Line Accident Memorial Set For Tuesday’s Anniversary

Metro, the union representing most Metro workers, and families of the victims of the June 22 Red Line crash will hold memorial ceremonies Tuesday. Metro’s ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. next to the Fort Totten Station. Metro plans to invite relatives to unveil a memorial plaque and lay a wreath in remembrance of the nine crash victims, the survivors and the emergency crews that responded to the accident.
