DC’s artist and muralist Aniekan Udofia may most notibly be recogonized by the Go-Go community as the artist who created the mural that resides on the side of Ben’s Chili Bowl of Chuck Brown, Donnie Simpson, Bill Cosby and Barack Obama. But up until this moment, what may not be widely known yet is that Aniekan is also the artist who designed the cover of the upcoming Rare Essence album “Turn It Up.”
In a recent video that has just been released, 38 year old Aniekan explains in detail his approach to the vision that resulted in his design.
