My guest today is… GoGo Legend Gerald Brooks, the original drummer of the Pump Blenders band and show. Making their footprints in GoGo music with such classic hits as “What Be Happening in the Winter Time”, Work That Sucker To Death, and my personal favorite “Take That Dip”, Pump Blenders originally came on the scene during the early hey-days GoGo by way of uptown DC. My very first time seeing them at the Howard Theatre somewhere back around 1982ish… but it definitely wasn’t my last time. And all that stuff we’re gonna be talking about tonight. So without any further ado, please welcome the big brother drummer extraordinaire… Gerald Brooks.
