In 1993, just as the go-go band Proper Utensils took the city by storm with the go-go version of the single “Rump Shaker,” two of the band’s strong forces, James Funk and Little Benny, sat down with (the original host of WOL’s go-go show), Konan’s program “PowerHouse”, and talked about how the band began, as well as their history together and their views on the future of go-go.
