VH1 is hitting pause on the reality show and is returning to its roots with a new music series called Soundclash to be executive produced by the Roots’ Questlove and hosted by Diplo, the AP reports.
The premise of the series is to get chart-topping acts to perform covers, hits and collaborations off-the cuff.
For the first episode, expect Lil Wayne, London Grammar and Fall Out Boy to rock the mic while the second episode will showcase Ed Sheeran, Sia and Grouplove.
Soundclash premieres July 23 on VH1
