A pushy paparazzo took a shot he wished he hadn’t Wednesday – a fist to the face from Mike Tyson that put him on his back. The incident occurred at Terminal 7 in front of numerous witnesses about 4:30 p.m., according to Los Angeles Airport Police. The paparazzo, who suffered a minor cut to his forehead, was not identified. Tyson, 43, told investigators that the paparazzo struck him in an apparent attempt to provoke him, according to a police source who asked not to be named because the matter involved an open investigation. After Academy Award nominated actress Taraji P. Henson served as grand marshall for Howard Homecomings parade last week, she gave back to the DC community in a different way. The actress hosted ‘A Write to Revolution,’ a fundraiser benefiting the international non-profit, Art Creates Life at the Washington Plaza Hotel. Henson serves as Art Creates Life’s national spokesperson, and was joined by actor Lamman Rucker, WJLA’s Cynee Simpson and singer John Forte at the event. Public Enemy Fans Raise $50k For New Album

AllHipHop Reports Public Enemy, the iconic Hip-Hop group, has raised $50,000 towards their latest venture – a fan-funded album. In early October, the group joined forces with SellaBand, an online service that allows fans to personally fund projects from their favorite artists. Since then, the group has raised over $50,000 for their forthcoming album, with their final goal being $250,000. The quarter-million dollars will be used to not only fund the entire recording process, but to fund a marketing plan for the new album’s worldwide release.
