DC will definitely be well represented at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.  It has been confirmed that performer Wale and and the legendary Washington, D.C., Go-Go band UCB (Uncalled 4 Band) will serve as the official house band for the night. As his work with Lady Gaga on the song “Chillin’ ” proves, Wale is no stranger to collaborations, so he should feel right at home when he joins forces with the All-American Rejects, Pitbull and 3OH!3 to perform versions of the year’s biggest hits.
